Kenny Omega Is The ‘Aaron Rodgers Of Wrestling’ And It’s Not A Compliment

Don Callis has been unhinged on social media lately. Some of his takes have been humorous, yet harsh. This included him comparing Tommy Dreamer to a walrus. He also hoped Matt Jackson’s physical breakdown would lead to him managing Nick in a singles run.

Now, Callis has turned his attention to pro football.

Callis targeted former friend/family member Kenny Omega, whom he compared to Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Callis replied to a quote by Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, who said the controversial Rodgers has been a terrific leader with his new team.

Don Callis took a swipe at the AEW star, claiming Kenny Omega is the Aaron Rodgers of wrestling because he’s “overrated and everyone hates him.”

Callis also said he’s considered shaking things up in the Don Callis Family. He went on to propose trading Brian Cage to the Miami Dolphins for “Tyreek Hill and four used footballs.”

If you don’t agree with Don Callis about those “hot takes” — or anything, for that matter — just take good ol’ Uncle Speedy’s advice:

Last week, Fightful (via Fightful Select) reported that Kenny Omega is taking time off from AEW. He will not compete at AEW All Out as a result. However, the outlet noted that Omega’s absence has been planned for months. Omega later reacted to the claim and basically confirmed all of the details of the original report.
