AEW September to Remember Results:
Tonight’s Dynamite special event kicks off with Tony Schiavone hosting a contract signing for the AEW World Championship match at All Out between Hangman Page and Kyle Fletcher.
Schiavone tries to give the contract to Fletcher, but Don Callis cuts him off. Callis says he remembers when he took that AEW World Championship from him when he beat “that weakling” Kenny Omega. Callis says he’s found someone better to bring the title back to the family.
Hangman Page says he wants to make it clear why he wants to see Fletcher do this match on his own. Page says he sees the potential in Fletcher and what he can be. Page says Fletcher is someone that this entire roster could look to one day to carry this company into the future.
Hangman says Fletcher needs to win it on his own and be worthy of it. Page announces in the contract that if Don Callis or any member of the family gets involved in their match at All Out, not only will he be disqualified, but he will be stripped of the TNT Championship.
If @TheDonCallis or any member of The Family gets involved at #AEWAllOut, @KyleFletcherPro will be stripped of the TNT Championship!

Don Callis flips out, but Fletcher doesn’t seem to care. Fletcher says it doesn’t scare him, and you could have put anything in the contract, and he would still sign it. Fletcher says no one will be involved in the match on Saturday, but that changes nothing. Kyle says he fulfills his destiny on Saturday when he becomes the AEW Men’s World Champion.
If any member of the Don Callis Family interferes at All Out, Fletcher will be stripped of the TNT Title
Fletcher says he’s better than Page when he first challenged for the title, won the title, and certainly better than him now. Fletcher says AEW doesn’t need Hangman or Omega anymore; it needs the Protostar. Kyle officially signs the contract.
Schiavone passes the contract over to Hangman. Page says he knows what it feels like to be in Fletcher’s shoes, but Kyle doesn’t know what it’s going to feel like the morning after All Out. Page says he believes Fletcher will give him everything he has, but it will not be enough.
Hangman says what Fletcher does after All Out will be what defines him and asks him not to disappoint him. Page signs the contract, and the match is official. Fletcher threatens to attack Hangman tonight before the show is over.

Solid opening contest. It might have gone a bit too long for my taste when it comes to a match at this speed, but it was still a good match overall. The finish was never in question, and maybe that’s why I couldn’t fully get into it. I’m not sure.

Big meaty men slapping MEAT! This match ruled. I enjoyed this so much more than the opener. Lashley hasn’t had a ton of singles matches in AEW, and after this, I hope we get to see a lot more. This was so much fun!
FTR go face-to-face with Cope & Cage
Tony Schiavone is in the ring and brings out Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. FTR and Stoke come out surrounded by 12 security guards. Schiavone puts over the two teams and reminds them all that there will be heavy fines if any physicality takes place tonight.
Stokely threatens Cope and Cage that if they touch him, he will make sure the match doesn’t take place on Saturday. Cash Wheeler says 16 years ago, he met Copeland for the first time as a young nothing trying to get an opportunity. Wheeler says Copeland became a friend and a mentor to him. Wheeler says that in ten years, FTR became the greatest tag team of this generation.
Cash says Copeland came to AEW and wanted FTR to do all the work. Wheeler says he helped Cope get his career back, but they will end it at All Out. Dax Harwood puts over how big of a tag team FTR has become and says Cope and Cage need this to be a dream match more than they do.

Adam Copeland tells Harwood to shut up and says it’s his turn to talk now. Cope tells Stoke to get Beth’s name out of his mouth or she’ll slap him in the face. Copeland noted he took Wheeler in when he was homeless. Copeland says FTR has been great for 11 years, but they’ve been doing this for 25 years.
Christian says he wants them to be called Cage and Cope. Copeland says FTR will understand after Saturday why they are better than them. Cage says $100,000 doesn’t mean a damn thing to him because he’s rich. Cope and Cage attack FTR. The security guards get involved, and they all get taken out.

The Young Bucks’ redemption tour?
Renee Paquette was backstage with the Young Bucks earlier today. Matt says everything is going better for them now after last week. Nick says he paid off production to give them a big entrance tonight. Matt questions how much money they have left because he lost half of it in the casino. Nick tells him not to worry about it and gives Renee $10K for being mean to her over the years. Paquette was very happy, but Matt was less than pleased.

Great tag team match. The Young Bucks are doing some of their best work this year over the last several months and are certainly in contention for tag team of the year. It wouldn’t have made any sense not to have Matt and Nick in a ladder match this weekend. The right team won.

After the match, Kazuchika Okada and Don Callis come out to stare down Dorada. Konosuke Takeshita comes out and makes Okada stare him down instead. Callis tries to separate them, but Takeshita isn’t having it. Dorada dives from the ring and lands on Okada before facing off with Takeshita.
Grade: B+
This was fun, but a bit sloppy at points. Still an enjoyable match overall. I’m not sure the right man won, to be honest, but it is what it is. No matter who the third man was going to be, they would be the odd man out anyway. AEW is dragging out the singles match between Okada and Takeshita, but hopefully, it happens sooner rather than later.
The Timeless One speaks…
AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm comes out on the stage with a microphone. Storm gives her typical opening line before saying she isn’t sure how much longer she’ll be champion. Storm says since winning her title back, she’s lived every day like it’s her last.

Toni says AEW is where the best wrestle and if you aren’t willing to put your body on the line every time you step in the ring, you ain’t shit. Storm says if Saturday is the end of her reign, then it’s been the honor of her life. Toni says if they want to take her title, they’d better burn her body to the ground and put her in a pipe to smoke her because no one else can get them higher.
Jamie Hayter comes in and says she’s no fan of the spotlight, and Toni can keep it. Hayter says she wants the title and reminds Storm she hasn’t forgotten about their past and reminds her that she hits hard. Kris Statlander comes out and says, since everyone is coming out, she might as well too. Statlander questions if they have the ovaries to beat her. Storm goes to finish things, and they are interrupted by Thekla, who makes her way to the ring for her match.

After the match, Thekla calls out Toni Storm, who hits the ring and takes it to the Toxic Spider. Jamie Hayter hits the ring, but Kris Statlander pulls her down and they brawl. The rest of the Triangle of Madness gets involved, as well as Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir. It sends with Storm and Hayter needing to be separated by multiple referees.

This was a very fun match. The aftermath really helped set the stage for the four-way on Saturday. I’m not certain who is going to win this weekend, and that’s part of the fun.

Good tag match and obviously the right team won. I’m not sure what’s next for Luchasaurus here, but I hope it involves a returning Jack Perry. The time being referred to as Killswitch has absolutely run its course. It’s time to go back to what works.
Big Bill sends a warning to Eddie Kingston
Big Bill and Bryan Keith are backstage. Bill says this Saturday at All Out, it’s him and Eddie Kingston, at least that’s what he’s been told. Bill says he won’t believe it until he sees Kingston come out on Saturday, and doesn’t believe he will. Big Bill says Eddie Kingston has been sitting at home for 16 months, and he doesn’t belong in the same ring as him. Bill says he’s going to expose Kingston as a fraud if he shows up on Saturday.

Page cleans house until Kyle Fletcher comes out and attacks Hangman, hitting him with the title and putting him through a table as AEW September to Remember goes off the air.
AEW September to Remember Review:
Overall, I enjoyed tonight’s show. However, I’m not sure it was a particularly strong go-home show. I didn’t feel the there was enough hype for this weekend’s pay-per-view. But that’s just my opinion. I liked a lot of the matches tonight, and what they did to hype All Out this weekend was good, but I think they should have done more.
I wonder if they figured the Countdown to All Out special after this event was sufficient. I’m honestly not sure, but I think they could have done a better job tonight to make me more excited for this weekend’s event.
