Here’s an overall review of Saturday night’s episode of Collision courtesy of our live coverage page…

AEW Collision Review:

Tonight’s episode of Collision was perfectly fine. But for the most part, this felt like the definition of a throwaway show. If you were just tuning in for a couple of hours of enjoyable wrestling, you got what you were looking for.

But if you were hoping to see some additional build and announcements for WrestleDream, which is only two weeks away, you didn’t get any of that. Tonight’s show seemed very focused on hyping their two specials next week with “Title Tuesday” and “Homecoming.”

And while there is nothing wrong with that at all, I think some additional focus could have been put on the upcoming pay-per-view. One new match for WrestleDream set up tonight would have gone a long way in making tonight’s show feel important. Ultimately, tonight was an enjoyable but missable episode of Collision.
