Kevin Nash has reacted to Raquel Rodriguez using the ‘Big Mami Cool’ moniker and has high praise for the WWE Superstar.
Speaking on his Kliq This podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash addressed former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Raquel Rodriguez using the nickname ‘Big Mami Cool.’ Nash was known as ‘Big Daddy Cool’ during his time as Diesel in WWE.
“I think we’ve covered it a lot on the show. I’m a huge fan of hers. I think she gets better by the week. She’s a f*cking big time player now!”
When asked how he feels about WWE using the Kiliq era moniker, Kevin Nash said it feels good to see it being used to push a talented performer.
“Yeah, absolutely! I mean, especially with somebody that talented is being pushed.”
Kevin Nash had previously criticized (and praised) Raquel Rodriguez
Kevin Nash has been observing Raquel Rodriguez’s work for quite some time, as the WWE Hall of Famer criticized the Judgment Day member a few months ago over how she worked with smaller opponents.
Nash said he wasn’t a fan of Rodriguez working down while competing against smaller opponents and stated that she should use her size to her advantage.
It appears Big Mami Cool listened to the Hall of Famer’s advice, as Kevin Nash praised Raquel Rodriguez for changing up her in-ring style after seeing her work at the Evolution event back in July.
“I also want to give a shout-out to Raquel, who I thought really picked her game up. She was strong in Evolution,” Nash said. “She really worked strong in the tag match. I thought she dominated in the tag match… all of a sudden, it’s just like, she worked big, and man, what a difference it made. Like, she just dominated that match.” [H/T: WrestlingNews.co]
Raquel Rodriguez has a big task ahead of her on the upcoming episode of Raw, as she will challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship.
