Wrestling fans will hear some familiar voices in Zootopia 2.
Recently, Disney revealed Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as a cast member of Zootopia 2, slated to release on November 26. Per a new report, fellow WWE names CM Punk and Roman Reigns will be joining him.
Journalist John McMullen announced on X that Reigns and Punk will voice two zebra characters in the upcoming film, with their characters also being described as “buddy cops.” Paradigm’s Nick LoPiccolo confirmed the news after teasing their roles back in September.
Paradigm provides representation for both Punk and Reigns. Punk signed with the talent agency in the summer of 2024 with the aim of “expanding his presence in entertainment.”
The official description for Zootopia 2, per IMDB, is as follows:
“Brave rabbit cop Judy Hopps and her friend, the fox Nick Wilde, team up again to crack a new case, the most perilous and intricate of their careers.”
Zootopia 2 serves as the sequel for successful original film released in 2016. Other cast members include Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Ke Huy Quan, Quinta Brunson, and Fortune Feimster. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson voices an accident-prone dik-dik (small antelope) that encounters a musical mishap.
Just three days after the film’s drop, Punk will gear up for the Men’s WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. As of now, there is no official word on whether Reigns will join him there as well.
