TNA Star Reacts To Report That Talent Is Unhappy With Creative

This TNA star has debunked a major rumor ahead of the company’s debut on AMC Networks.

The AMC era of TNA Wrestling is scheduled to kick off on January 15, 2026. Their flagship show, iMPACT!, will remain on Thursday nights but air an hour later, from 9–11 PM ET. In addition to the cable broadcast agreement, the new deal also includes streaming the show on AMC+.

TNA President Carlos Silva told WrestleZone’s Managing Editor Bill Pritchard that the new media rights deal presents the company with more opportunities to run live broadcast dates, with Dave Meltzer suggesting Full Sail University as a potential permanent home for TV tapings.

As TNA prepares for its big debut on AMC, a Fightful Select Q&A (via Bodyslam.net) reported that the roster “don’t feel as much confidence in their creative.” However, that report has since been debunked by a contracted talent.

Taking to X, former TNA World Tag Team Champion and one-fourth of The Rascalz, Trey Miguel, questioned the validity of the claim.

“Where do you get this from?” he wrote.

This comes after Matt Hardy addressed TNA’s creative direction on a recent episode of his podcast. Hardy advised the roster to prioritize storytelling instead of focusing on producing five-star matches, noting that fans care more about memorable moments than in-ring quality.

TNA star to compete at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

A huge cross-promotional match has been announced for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

WWE confirmed this past Monday on RAW that AJ Styles and Dragon Lee will defend their World Tag Team Championship against NXT’s Je’Von Evans and TNA X Division Champion Leon Slater at the December 13 special.

Styles and Lee successfully retained their titles against The War Raiders (Erik and Ivar) last night.

It is worth noting that Saturday Night’s Main Event will be headlined by John Cena vs. Gunther in what is set to be Cena’s in-ring retirement match.
