Everyone has their own personal favorite John Cena moment, and as he prepares for his final match this weekend, Paul Heyman reflected on his.
In a recent post on Instagram, Heyman shared a video of his favorite promo that Cena ever did. The moment in question came during a segment on WWE SmackDown. In it, Cena rapped about Brock Lesnar ahead of their match at WWE SummerSlam 2014. The segment saw Cena call him various names in the diss, and it was something Heyman always liked.
“I would have to say my own personal favorite promo about [John Cena] was the rap that promoted the SummerSlam match in which my client [Brock Lesnar] took Cena to Suplex City and conquered him for the WWE Heavyweight Championship,” Heyman’s statement read. “Brock’s favorite, however, is this one, the day after the match, where once again my prediction was revealed as a spoiler.”
Heyman went on to note that Cena is a “real life super hero.” He also noted that “we should all aspire to be more like him every day of our lives.” In the match in question, Cena would come out on top, winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the process.
