Tony Khan Announces Return Of A Former AEW Show For One Night Only

Tony Khan has announced that a former AEW show is making a one-off return.

Fan footage making the rounds on social media shows Tony Khan announcing the return of AEW Dark for one night only before this week’s Collision taping.

“… And because I love Cardiff so much, I went to the great executives at Warner Bros. Discovery, the great company that powers the engine that makes AEW possible.

“I said, ‘Please, it’s the holiday season. For one night only, because there are hardcore AEW fans in Cardiff this holiday season, I want to bring back AEW Dark for one night only.’

“And you know what they said? They said yes. So yes, yes, yes, yes. We’ll finish the night with a one-night-only holiday episode of AEW Dark tonight in Cardiff.”

AEW Dark was a YouTube-only show that featured pre-taped matches. The series ran for three seasons from 2019 to 2023. Both Dark and its spinoff, Dark: Elevation, were canceled following the addition of Collision.
