John Cena has responded to Liv Morgan’s confession about delivering a low blow during WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025.
Morgan stunned fans when she interrupted Cena’s Intercontinental Championship match against Dominik Mysterio. She sprinted to the ring, teased a turn by slapping Dominik, then hugged Cena mirroring the exact setup Cena used earlier this year when he turned heel on Cody Rhodes.
Moments later, Morgan flipped the script, landing a low blow on Cena and helping Mysterio reclaim the WWE Intercontinental Title. Recently, Morgan appeared on What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon, where she admitted the kick wasn’t discussed beforehand.
“I really kicked him, too. I kicked him right in the wee wee. And this, too (hitting John Cena with the title belt), I just gave everything. I never kicked someone in the di*k before,” Morgan said. “I just was like bam! I went straight up. No, there was no discussion (on whether she had discussed the spot with Cena). I just knew the assignment. I had one job, it was kick John Cena in the di*k and hit him with the title.”
Cena soon weighed in on X, formerly known as Twitter, with a lighthearted response. He wrote, “Isn’t that 2 jobs? Semantics aside, an unforgettable night and a honor to be a part of what brought you back into a @WWE ring!”
