Why haven’t the Street Profits been on WWE programming since October?
We haven’t seen Montez Ford or Angelo Dawkins on WWE programming since losing their shot at the Tag Team Titles against the Wyatt Sicks. The duo would appear in action on Main Event a couple of weeks later, but haven’t been seen since.
Many assumed this was due to one or both of the Street Profits being injured. But now a new report suggests that isn’t the case.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, neither Montez Ford nor Angelo Dawkins are dealing with any injuries. The decision to take them off WWE television was made with the idea of freshening them up ahead of an eventual return.
As of this writing, there’s no timetable for the Street Profits to return to WWE programming.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
