Jade Cargill is in her first reign as WWE Women’s Champion. She kicked off her reign by defeating Tiffany Stratton at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1, 2025.
Despite holding the title for nearly three months, Jade has yet to make her first televised title defense. This has sparked backlash from fans on social media, with some criticizing the creative direction for WWE SmackDown’s top champion.
However, Jade Cargill appears to have zero concern about the polarizing reaction to her WWE Women’s Championship defense plans. She recently shared her thoughts on the criticism with a rather NSFW remark, seemingly taking a veiled shot at the newest addition to the SmackDown women’s division, Jordynne Grace.
“My first Title defense will not be against some walk up nobody. ?? and yall can CONTINUE to be angry about it. You might as well cry. ? IDGAF”
Speaking of Jordynne Grace, The Juggernaut made her SmackDown in-ring debut against Alba Fyre last Friday. After making short work of the former NXT UK Women’s Champion, Grace came face to face with Jade Cargill, who warned her to stay out of her path. The two also traded barbs on social media, suggesting a title match could be on the horizon.
