LA Knight was visibly upset when he was reprimanded for not sticking to the original plan for the finish of the 2025 WWE men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
The second season of the Netflix docuseries WWE: Unreal released earlier today. Episode 3 focused on The Vision and Seth Rollins winning the 2025 men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. However, it appears the finish didn’t go as WWE officials originally envisioned, and LA Knight took the heat for it.
Seth Rollins climbed the ladder and retrieved the briefcase after he took out LA Knight with a stomp. However, the original plan was to add more drama to the finish by having Rollins and Knight battle each other standing on the top of the ladder.
Former TNA star and current WWE backstage producer Chris Parks/Abyss explained the original finish. “We thought we were gonna have Seth and LA face-to-face, battling over who was gonna pull that Money in the Bank case down. The suspense and the drama that that creates, we lost that.”
Triple H reprimanded LA Knight
Triple H and Bruce Prichard were visibly upset at Gorilla Position, and when LA Knight came to the back after the match, The Game promptly reprimanded him for deviating from the plan.
“The end of that thing was built for you. Seth, come out, pull the ladder, put it up, urgency. He goes up. He gets all the way to it. But here you come. You get all the way up top with him. Fight. You knock him off. Boom, he goes down. Holy sh*t! You’re right there. You grab it. Maybe he comes up again, he pulls you down, but you pull him down. Boom, he’s out of the picture.
“You go up, your hands are on it, you’ve got it. He comes, pulls you down. When you land, kick, stomp, boom. Fuc*in, he goes up, and he grabs it. You were that fuc*ing close. We’ve got a really good story there. We just missed the moment to put the fire on him,” Triple H told LA Knight.
Knight has been out of action since the December 8, 2025, episode of WWE RAW, where he endured a vicious assault at the hands of the Vision. With the Royal Rumble fast approaching, it will be interesting to see if the Megastar will return at the event.
