A former WWE NXT star has a new gimmick, and it’s all about the vibes.
Luca Crusifino made his WWE NXT debut in 2022 with a lawyer gimmick. He later partnered with Tony D’Angelo in the D’Angelo Family faction as their consigliere and held this position until leaving the group in July 2025. He hasn’t appeared on WWE television since losing a triple threat match against D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo on the July 15, 2025, episode of NXT.
Following an eight-month hiatus, WWE has moved Luca Crusifino to EVOLVE. The brand aired a vignette for his return with a new gimmick on the March 11 episode. As the D’Angelo Family’s consigliere, Crusifino was a serious attorney figure who handled business with cunning and precision. He has now ditched that whole persona for something far more energetic and unconventional.
The former WWE NXT star noted in the vignette that he has found his inner self with the new persona and that he’s more effective when he’s “vibing on the frequency of love, fluidity, and fun.” He said that just because he’s vibing, it doesn’t mean he’s not dangerous, and promised to make EVOLVE revolve around him.
Fan reactions to his new gimmick have been mixed:
“Italian lawyer to hippy raver very interesting,” one fan replied.
“We are ready Luca, leave your mark in this new beginning,” another said.
“So you’re now a knock off version of Angelico and Adam Rose? The downfall needs to be studied, I’m sorry man. You deserve better,” another fan commented.
