WWE Night of Champions 2026 Planned Date and Location Revealed — Report

The planned date and location for WWE Night of Champions has been revealed, per a new report.

After hosting the 2026 Royal Rumble in Riyadh, WWE reportedly plans to return to Saudi Arabia for Night of Champions on June 27. According to POST Wrestling, however, that date could be in flux.

Due to the ongoing war in the Middle East, pundits and fans have raised concerns about the safety of running events in the region. Whether that same concern applies to Night of Champions is unknown, as POST Wrestling reports that neither WWE nor Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority responded to their questions about potentially rescheduling or cancelling the premium live event.

One source indicated to POST that Riyadh was internally circled as the location for this year’s Night of Champions event. Since the end of February, however, Riyadh has been a target of counterattacks from Iran amid the ongoing international hostilities.

On March 4, TKO reportedly sent out a memo to staff warning that the U.S. government expected the hostilities to increase. As such, TKO encouraged all employees “to please make note of this advisory when determining travel plans.”

Should WWE keep the aforementioned time and location for Night of Champions intact, it will fall four weeks after Clash In Paris and five weeks before SummerSlam, which will emanate from Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 1 and 2. Last year’s Night of Champions event included the finals of the King and Queen of the Ring tournament. Whether that will also be the case for the 2026 iteration has yet to be seen.
