A new report reveals WrestleMania plans for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Nia Jax and Lash Legend have found themselves quite busy in recent weeks as the pairings of the Bella Twins and Charlotte Flair-Alexa Bliss have both challenged them. Next week on WWE Raw, Legend and Jax, known as The Irresistible Forces, will defend their titles once more, this time against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.
According to BodySlam+, current plans call for this series of events to lead to a major four-way match at WrestleMania 42, pitting The Irresistible Forces against Flair and Bliss, The Bella Twins, and Bayley and Valkyria in a bout for the Women’s Tag Team Championships. As of now, it is unclear if Legend and Jax will head into WrestleMania as the defending champions or if another team will unseat them en route to the big event.
On this week’s edition of WWE SmackDown, Nikki and Brie Bella will take on Flair and Bliss in a traditional tag match. In previous weeks, both teams have gotten involved in the other’s tag titles opportunities.
On Raw, Bayley and Valkyria defeated The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane). Afterward, they then called out Legend and Jax, with Bayley proposing that they square off next week in NYC’s Madison Square Garden.
WrestleMania 42 will emanate from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 18 and 19.
