Netflix Raising U.S. Prices For Second Time In A Year

Netflix is once again raising prices for its three subscription tiers in the United States.

Variety reports that the streaming giant has updated its pricing plans on its website just over a year after the previous increase.

“Under the higher pricing, Netflix’s Standard With Ads plan will now cost $8.99/month, up $1 from $7.99 previously. The Standard plan (no ads, viewing on up to two devices simultaneously) is rising by $2, from $17.99/month to $19.99/month. And the Premium plan (no ads, streaming on up to four devices at once, Ultra HD and HDR) is going up $3 — from $24.99/month to $26.99/month,” Variety noted.

“Our approach remains the same: We continue offering a range of prices and plans to meet a variety of needs, and as we deliver more value to our members we are updating our prices to enable us to reinvest in quality entertainment and improve their experience by updating our prices,” Netflix said in a statement to Variety.

New members will have to pay the new prices starting Thursday, March 26. Netflix added that it will roll out the updated pricing for existing subscribers in the near future. Existing users will be notified by email in the coming weeks before the new prices are applied, with the timing depending on each member’s billing cycle.

Netflix is the home of WWE RAW in the U.S., as well as WWE Premium Live Events for international audiences. In the U.S., ESPN holds the rights to stream PLEs, beginning with WrestlePalooza in September 2025.
