Reports have emerged about an alleged stabbing incident involving an indie wrestler this past weekend.
Cultaholic Wrestling reports that Krule, popularly known as Mads Krule Krügger, was allegedly stabbed by an individual at Ruthless Pro Wrestling’s OMEGA event on Saturday, March 28.
Krule competed in the show’s main event, a Last Man Standing match against defending RPW Rustbelt Deathmatch World Champion SHLAK, at the Berwyn Eagles Club in Berwyn, Illinois.
According to social media rumors, a fan at the event allegedly stabbed Krule. The incident was reportedly filmed by TJ DeHaan and later posted on social media by deathmatch wrestler Lou Nixon. The footage allegedly shows several wrestlers confronting the attacker before he exited the building.
Indie wrestler claims alleged attacker had issues with Krule
“At the start of the show, I was speaking to Krule. Krule told me that the guy went up to the merch stand at the start of the show, started asking Krule how much all his [merchandise] was, and then went, ‘I’m not f*cking paying that,’ and then walked away,” Nixon told Cultaholic.
“This guy was front row during Krule’s entrance now. He’s like a big monster. He walks around, the guy stepped out the front row and stepped in front of Krule on his entrance and, like, squared up to him. Krule obviously didn’t break character and made him look silly, and then during the match I think, like, the guy got knocked out of his seat.”
Fellow pro wrestler Mickie Knuckles corroborated Nixon’s account, claiming that the incident unfolded after the main event when Krule, SHLAK, and Nixon were at their merch table. According to Knuckles, a fan approached and began staring aggressively at Krule, who didn’t back down.
Suddenly, the situation escalated as the fan lunged forward, driving Krule through the table. While Krule was down, the attacker stabbed him in the lower right side of his abdomen. Realizing the man had a knife, the others immediately stepped in and struck him to prevent further harm. They forced him toward the exit, and at one point, someone even kicked him down the stairs to get him out of the area.

Krule has since reacted to the reports. On social media, the former MLW World Heavyweight Champion stated that he was “fine,” offering no further details.
“Krule is Fine,” the account posted.
Providing more insight into the situation, Nixon claimed that Krule was unaware he had been stabbed until he was sitting at a bar following the alleged assault, at which point he was “patched up.” Krule reportedly did not need to visit a local hospital and was able to catch his scheduled flight.
Knuckles added that police officers were present at the event and stated that the individual heard shouting “Don’t kill him” at the wrestlers in the video was actually an officer. At the time of writing, it has not been confirmed whether any arrests were made.
