Killer Kross believes Major League Wrestling is capable of holding a supershow with major wrestling promotions.
Speaking to WrestleZone’s Managing Editor Bill Pritchard in a new interview, MLW World Champion Killer Kross described 2025 as one of the most significant and transformative periods of his life, both personally and professionally.
“Well, last year was probably one of the biggest and most important years of my life, for both personal and professional reasons. Last year was very transformative in a very positive way. I don’t look at anything that happened last year as a negative. I always look at where I’m at in my life presently. Like today — am I happy with everything? Am I grateful for everything? Yes, I am.”
Kross also explained that staying in tune with fans helps him avoid creative blocks. By actively engaging with them at meet-and-greets, airports, and other interactions, he gathers ideas on potential matches, opponents, and directions, allowing fan feedback to shape his creative thinking.
“It’s easier for me to think about it that way. I don’t have any creative blocks if I just think about what I believe people want to see, or if I just listen. If I listen, I don’t even need to think about it. What do they want to see? What are the matches they want? There are a lot of different ways to get that feedback. I do it at meet-and-greets. I do it at airports. I’ll just ask people. I’ll say, ‘What would be cool? What’s a cool idea you have? Who would you want to see me wrestle? Where would you want to see me go?’”
Killer sees MLW’s crossover appeal
Killer Kross sees MLW as a unique platform that could serve as a middle ground for collaboration between promotions. He believes the company has the potential to host crossover appearances, bringing in talent from other organizations for one-off matches and shared opportunities.
“I feel like MLW could be a really fascinating middle ground between a lot of different companies. If other companies don’t have an issue with talent appearing for a one-off or something like that, MLW feels like the type of place that would be open to it. Being able to have talent from elsewhere appear on the show for crossover, cross-branding opportunities — there’s something there.”
He pointed out that while some companies already collaborate, MLW could expand that concept further by working with promotions like NJPW and CMLL, noting past examples such as AEW World Champion MJF’s appearance.
“There are companies that already share airtime with each other, but I feel like MLW could do that with New Japan, CMLL — MJF was on an episode. I think there’s something there, you know what I mean? Maybe it’s something I can discuss internally with the office and the team to figure out the logistics and realities of it.
“But I think MLW is fully capable of doing a super show with several companies this year if everyone’s open to it and can find common ground, where nobody feels like they’re compromising anything. I think it could be done, and I’d love to headline something like that,” Kross said.
