WATCH: FOX News Anchor Abby Hornacek Gets Suplexed On Live TV

This FOX News anchor walked away unhurt after an apparent botched suplex landing during a segment on national television.

Appearing live on Fox & Friends, Abby Hornacek participated in a segment with Olympic silver medalist Kennedy Blades. The segment featured Blades performing a suplex on Hornacek, which appeared to go wrong after the FOX News personality nearly landed on her neck.

The clip shows Blades hoisting Hornacek for the suplex, with the movement appearing quick from a viewer’s perspective. From the broadcast angle, the FOX News anchor appears to land on her neck, but thankfully, that was not the case.

In an update on the show, Abby Hornacek noted that she felt fine, contrary to how the footage looked, which showed her almost landing on her neck during the move. She also said her mother was worried, while praising Kennedy Blades for her professionalism.

“My mother was also very worried,” Hornacek noted. “I actually feel great… Kennedy Blades is a true professional… I felt like I was being hoisted off a skyscraper. I was disoriented in the air.”

Abby Hornacek later clarified that the segment was her idea and that she volunteered to take the move from the Olympian. She also set the record straight on comments suggesting Kennedy Blades had botched the suplex, emphasizing that there was no fault on Blades’ part and that everything was done as planned during the segment.
