Liv Morgan Knew This WWE Star Would Succeed From The Start

WWE star Liv Morgan recently opened up about her rivalry with Rhea Ripley, and the story goes way back.

Their rivalry started years ago in WWE. They were once part of the same team called Liv 4 Brutality. Things were different back then. There was trust between them. But that did not last very long.

In 2024, the feud became intense as both stars chased success. Morgan saw it as a revenge story. She wanted to take everything from Ripley. And eventually, she did just that in her own way. She went after Dominik Mysterio, The Judgment Day, and the Women’s World Championship.

The feud escalated in 2024 when Morgan attacked Ripley leading to injury and promised to take everything from her which she did from Dominik Mysterio to Judgment Day to Womne’s World title.

Speaking with Esteban Ramirez, Liv Morgan shared how everything began with Rhea Ripley. She talked about their early days and how things slowly changed. “Rhea and I have quite a bit of lore. I remember back in the Performance Center when I saw her, I knew that she was gonna be a star. It was just very evident to me.”

“So when I had gotten called up to the main roster, I had left Rhea my locker. I told her, ‘You can have my locker, you can move your stuff into my locker.’ She didn’t even have a locker yet. Then she gets called up to the main roster, has tons of success, we get put into a tag team where we have so much chemistry.”

She continued, “We tag for a while, and then she turned on me, joined the Judgment Day, injured me. “I came back on the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour and took everything that she loved including Dominik, the Judgment Day and the Women’s World Championship. So I feel like we are both the heroes and villians in each other’s stories. She is the Batman to my Joker, and I am the villain in her hero’s story, and she is the viliain in my hero’s story.” [H/T: Wrestletalk]

Even though they are currently on separate paths, both stars have big matches ahead. Morgan is set to face Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship. Meanwhile, Ripley will go up against Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42.
