The April 6, 2026, episode of WWE RAW started with an eyebrow-raising segment. CM Punk delivered a fiery promo that felt very real, blurring the line between storyline and reality. The Best in the World took shots at several people in WWE, including Pat McAfee and even TKO chairman Ari Emanuel.
One of his main targets was McAfee. The former WWE commentator recently revealed himself to be Randy Orton’s mystery caller and claimed that he and Orton will “save the business.” The whole thing didn’t sit well with many fans.
Now, on RAW, CM Punk mocked McAfee and even called him “Pat MAGA-Fee.” He questioned McAfee’s place in wrestling and said that he doesn’t really belong in the business.
CM Punk tells Pat McAfee to “call up the agent” who put him in WWE
Things got even more serious when the WWE World Heavyweight Champion hinted at Ari Emanuel. Without naming him directly, Punk referred to him as “the agent” who pushed McAfee into WWE. He suggested that McAfee’s role was not just a creative decision but something driven by higher-ups.
The WWE star also spoke about the high ticket prices for WrestleMania 42. Looking straight into the camera, he said they should lower prices. It was a rare moment where WWE business decisions were called out on TV.
“You wanna talk about ticket sales? Do me a favor. Call up the agent that was foolish enough to shoehorn you into this business…and tell him to lower the ticket prices,” Punk proclaimed, sending a message directly to McAfee.
There is also more context behind all this. Reports before RAW suggested that someone from the higher-ups at TKO might have played a role in bringing McAfee back to the WWE. The decision could possibly be linked to deals with ESPN. Punk’s comments seemed to connect directly to those reports.
