Our WWE NXT results for tonight include the fallout from NXT Stand and Deliver, the new NXT Women’s Champion, Lola Vice, celebrating her championship victory, the Men’s Speed title tournament begins, Keanu Carver clashing with Josh Briggs and Jasper Troy in triple threat action, and Sol Ruca battling Izzi Dame. Here’s our review and grades for tonight’s show, live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

The new NXT Champion, Tony D’Angelo, says he’s the man. He’s NXT Champion. The first-ever Grand Slam champion in the NXT Champion. D’Angelo gets interrupted by Joe Hendry, Ricky Saints, and Ethan Page. DarkState appears and attacks everyone. After the break, Mr. Stone books a tag match with Hendry, D’Angelo, Page, and Saints against DarkState.
Grade: C+
Standard stuff here. Nothing to really get excited about.
Sol Ruca vs. Izzi Dame
Dame is in control early. Ruca sends Dame over the top. Ruca lands a corkscrew springboard to the floor. After the break, Ruca lands a springboard lariat. Dame responds with a diving lungblower. Ruca kicks out. Dame runs into a spear. Same rolls out. Vance saves Ruca from a moonsault. Zaria hops the barricade and Spears Ruca. Dame powerbombs Ruca and pins her.
Winner- Izzi Dame
Grade: C+
Fun TV match. Sorta happy to see the Ruca/Zaria thing isn’t done. There is still meat on that bone.
Backstage, The Vanity Project gifts Blake Monroe a customer Women’s North American Championship, even though she isn’t the champion. NXT GM Mr. Stone tells Monroe to pick a member of the Vanity Project to tag with her later tonight against Tatum Paxley and Shiloh Hill. Monroe pick Jackson Drake.
Keanu Carver vs. Josh Briggs vs. Jasper Troy
Briggs attacks before the bell. Briggs sends Carver out of the ring and stomps out Troy. Carver sends Troy into the steps. Briggs begs off. Carver falls for Briggs’ trap and gets tripped. Briggs works over Carver. Carver sends Briggs into the corner and lands a splash. Carver picks up Briggs. Troy runs them both over. Everyone brawls. Briggs pushes Troy off the top. Troy hits the ring apron with a thud. Carver hits his finish on Briggs for the win.
Winner- Keanu Carver
Grade: C+
This wasn’t exactly Gunther vs. Sheamus vs. McIntyre
Tony D’Angelo, Joe Hendry, Ricky Saints, and Ethan Page vs. DarkState
Hendry gets beaten down for most of the match. Page and Saints refuse to tag in. Hendry manages to tag in D’Angelo. D’Angelo cleared the ring. Hendry lands a dive. North American Champion Myles Borne attacks Lennox outside the ring. Page steals D’Angelo’s pin for the win.
Winners- Tony D’Angelo, Joe Hendry, Ricky Saints, and Ethan Page
Grade: C+
This one was a standard six-man. Nothing of note came out of this one.
Men’s Speed Championship Tournament: Chaz “Starboy” Hall vs. Lexis King w/Birth Right
King gets his boots up while Starboy tries a shooting star. King hits his finish for the win.
Winner- Lexis King
Grade: C+
Starboy has bounce. But this was a Speed match, so there isn’t much to be said here.
Blake Monroe and Jackson Drake vs. Tatum Paxley and Shiloh Hill
After a bit of back and forth, Paxley gets distracted while setting up her finish. Monroe hits the Glamour Shot DDT for the win.
Winners- Blake Monroe and Jackson Drake
Grade: B-
Fast-paced action in this one. Monroe needed this win.
Vice City
Lola Vice celebrates her title victory. Vice says she is undeniable. She is no longer the girl who came from MMA; she’s a WWE Superstar. Fatal Influence interrupts. Jacy Jayne says all Vice has done is set her up to be a record-breaking three-time Women’s Champion. The crowd boos Jayne incessantly. Mr. Stone tells Jayne she can have her rematch next week. Vice promises to knock Jayne out again. Reid and Henley attack Vice from behind. Vice fights off all three FI members.
Grade: C
The promo here was fine, but did this need to happen to get to a rematch between these two?
