Logan Paul puts over Vince McMahon’s business acumen.
Appearing on What’s Your Story? With Stephanie McMahon, WWE RAW Superstar Logan Paul revealed that he was the last person to be personally signed by Vince McMahon before his departure.
“That’s the brilliance of Vince McMahon and we’ve seen that over the years,” Paul said. “You have this ability to adapt. Even if you aren’t entirely sure what’s going on, you rely on people who are experts in a craft. And the WWE and Vince trusted me. I was the last person Vince ever signed, which I thought was really cool.”
Paul then explained how McMahon’s teachings shaped his own outlook on business and entertainment.
“You know what I learned from that, and your dad just in general? It’s all about the show. It’s all about the product. He built something that he would have died for. Like, actually. It was all about entertaining people. I have so much respect for that,” he said. [H/T SEScoops.com]
WWE has been careful not to name-drop Vince McMahon amid his legal battle with Janel Grant. That said, there have been subtle mentions of the former CEO on the road to WrestleMania 42. The most recent reference came on the April 6 episode of RAW, courtesy of CM Punk.
