Gabe Kidd Leaves Match Due To Apparent Injury at AEW Dynasty

Gabe Kidd wasn’t able to finish his match at AEW Dynasty due to an apparent injury.

The Dogs’ Kidd, David Finlay and Clark Connors face off with The Conglomeration’s Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong and a mystery partner. Kyle O’Reilly made his long-awaited return from injury, appearing with an 80’s sitcom-style entrance.

Midway through the match, Kidd went down with an apparent injury. Fans speculated that Kidd suffered an arm or shoulder injury, and was seen being helped backstage by the medical team.

Fightful (via Fightful Select) is reporting that backstage sources said that Kidd appeared to be injured when arriving backstage with the medical team. It was noted that Kidd appeared to be holding his wrist during the exit, which resulted in an audible. The outlet notes that it’s working to find out if the finish itself was affected. F4WOnline.com’s Dave Meltzer is reporting that the fear is Kidd separated his right shoulder.

The Conglomeration upset The Dogs to win the titles. Surprisingly, the Dogs’ title reign only lasted one day. They won the titles from Místico and JetSpeed on this week’s episode of Collision. The show was taped four days ago, but it aired on tape delay on Saturday night, so the title reign is recognized as one day.
