Drew McIntyre Issues PSA To Rude Fans Ahead of WWE WrestleMania 42

Drew McIntyre delivers an important PSA.

The biggest week of professional wrestling is here, which means thousands of fans, wrestlers, and personalities will make their way to Las Vegas, the site of WWE WrestleMania 42. With that in mind, WWE star Drew McIntyre has issued a preemptive public service announcement — consisting of various dos and don’ts — to the fans that may encounter him and his fellow wrestlers during the week.

“Do interrupt us when we’re having a conversation with friends and family. No one’s more important than you and getting that selfie in that little moment of downtime we get,” McIntyre said in a video posted to X. “Do shove a camera in her face without asking. We love that. You don’t need our consent. No, no, no, no, it makes for a better flow from visibly rushing to an Uber or waiting for food or heading to an appearance as quick as we can. And we look like we’re the ones in the wrong. We love looking like we’re asses on camera. So yep, definitely do that.

“Do wait in the hotel or the airport for us. Nothing gives us more joy than seeing the same 20 people every day in the same spot. Yeah, the hotels are home for the week at WrestleMania, but hey, mi casa su casa, I guess, right?”

Regarding the don’ts, McIntyre encouraged fans not to wear deodorant, but rather “walk around stinky and smelly in that desert heat.” Additionally, he suggested that people don’t calls wrestlers by their ring names, and instead, greet them with their government names.

“You know us so well obviously,” he said. “We love it when you do that, especially the girls. Make sure you call them by their government names. It’s not weird. It’s not creepy at all because you watch us on TV so you know it’s like that. Those ones that believe they actually know us who send gift cards to us because they have a personal relationship with us online and they believe it’s actually us, you guys are the best and the smartest. So yeah, definitely come over and say hello.”

In case it wasn’t clear by now, McIntyre’s address was issued in a sarcastic tone, which means he actually believed the opposite of what he said. Please do wear deodorant while in the Las Vegas heat. Do not follow talents to the airport, their hotel, or Ubers.

McIntyre, the now former Undisputed WWE Champion, will face Jacob Fatu in an Unsanctioned Match on night one of WrestleMania 42.
