During WrestleMania 42 Sunday, Rhea Ripley faced Cargill in a physical title match. The action stayed intense throughout the entire contest. Then came a moment that fans didn’t expect at all, as Cargill delivered Omega’s One Winged Angel to Ripley.
Interestingly, WWE commentary called the move “Sandstorm” on the broadcast. Still, fans recognized it right away without confusion. Ripley managed to kick out after the move. But the clip quickly spread across social media platforms.

AEW star Kenny Omega responded to the moment in a calm way. He posted his reaction on X, formerly known as Twitter. Instead of criticizing, he took it in a positive light. He said seeing others use his move feels like respect.
He shared a simple message along with a fun GIF. Omega said he sees it as a compliment always. He even called seeing it at WrestleMania “kinda neat.” He wrote, “When I see the moves I do elsewhere, I only take it as a compliment. If somehow I inspired people to use them, I can only be grateful. Besides, seeing the OWA on the WM ring was kinda neat, right? It’s all good with me!”
Cargill also replied to Omega after his message, writing, “Thank you.” She thanked him and showed respect in return. The exchange stayed friendly between both wrestlers online.
