Raquel Rodriguez Reveals Heartfelt Gift From Her Mom After Dominant WWE Performance

Raquel Rodriguez didn’t win the match, but many still see her as the MVP of the 2026 Women’s Elimination Chamber match. That includes her mom, too.

Rodriguez spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard about her impressive 2026 Elimination Chamber match performance. Rodriguez dominated a portion of the match after entering as the final entrant. She immediately began clearing the ring, hitting a running powerslam on Kiana James through a Chamber pod. Rodriguez also hoisted Asuka for a Tejana Bomb, slamming The Empress of Tomorrow onto a fallen James.

Rodriguez then earned a history-making accolade for herself as she stacked Asuka and Kiana James on top of each other to score a double pinfall. This was the first time a double elimination happened in a Women’s Chamber match, which she was unaware of until after the match.

“I didn’t know in the moment that that was going to be history. It was definitely after someone came and they were like, ‘What was what? That’s the first one that’s ever happened [in a women’s Chamber].’ So it’s really cool to know that I get to be a part of history,” Raquel Rodriguez said. “Elimination Chamber this year was absolutely epic for me, for all the women. I think we all performed great. But you’re right, I did the best.”

Rodriguez also revealed that her mom had a special gift made for her in honor of her performance.

“My mom had a t-shirt made. It has my picture from Elimination Chamber. It says ‘MVP of Elimination Chamber.’ I’m very proud of her for making that and taking that step,” she added. “And I know she’s very proud of me as well for my performance. Even though I was a loser, I think I won.”

Raquel Rodriguez has a few more bucket list goals left in WWE

Raquel Rodriguez says she has “so many” more history-making goals she would like to achieve in the ring. Not only does she want to break her own record as tag team champions with Liv Morgan, but she’s eyeing singles gold as well.

“I definitely want to become five-time Women’s Tag Team Champions with Liv Morgan. I know we’re making history right now as the four-time, but five just sounds really, really good,” Rodriguez said. “I definitely want to win the Women’s World Championship at some point. I would love to win the Intercontinental Title. I would love to win the US title. I’d love to be a Grand Slam Champion. That’s definitely something that’s on my dream list to do.

“That’s what I’m looking forward to is focusing on a next singles title, getting my next accomplishment, and then just racking up the accolades, racking them up.”
