Brooke Hogan Claims WWE Tribute Invite Never Reached Her Despite Nick Khan Call

Brooke Hogan has shared her side of a WrestleMania 42 weekend moment. She revealed she did not receive a direct invitation to WWE’s tribute for her father, Hulk Hogan, despite later communication from Nick Khan.

The situation came to light during an appearance on The Bubba the Love Sponge Show. Hogan also addressed criticism over her absence during WWE’s high-profile celebrations honoring her father’s legacy.

Brooke Hogan details WWE invite confusion around WrestleMania tribute

According to Hogan, she initially believed she didn’t earn an invitation at all. This prompted her to respond publicly on social media.

She later received a personal call from Khan. He explained that an invitation would follow indirectly through her brother.

“I said something… like I wasn’t invited,” Hogan explained, adding that Khan told her the invite had been passed along rather than delivered directly.

However, she indicated that such an approach left uncertainty about whether she was truly expected to attend — a case of crossed wires rather than crossed paths.

The confusion didn’t end there. Hogan stated she was told a direct invitation would follow after that conversation. However, she claims it never arrived. That missing follow-up appears to be the crux of the issue. In wrestling terms, the message may have been sent, but it didn’t quite land the three-count.

“I said something on Instagram where I was like for everybody giving me crap for not being there like I wasn’t invited. Um and Nick Khan called me personally and said that he extended the invite through my brother um and that was kind of it. So I mean I would imagine that if I were to be able to go I would probably have to be invited by Nick. He did say he was going to invite you personally moving forward…on the call, which never happened recently.”

Her comments also reflected the emotional weight of the situation. Hogan described feeling hurt watching others take part in honoring her father. This rang especially true during a weekend where WWE prominently celebrated his influence across multiple events.

WWE paid tribute to Hulk Hogan throughout WrestleMania 42 weekend, including appearances, honors, and continued recognition of his legacy. However, Hogan’s account suggests the communication may not have been as clear as the spotlight in the ring.
