Ric Flair Apologizes to Ludwig Kaiser After Controversial WWE Comments

Ric Flair has walked back his controversial remarks about Ludwig Kaiser.

After previously claiming that WWE pulled him from WrestleMania following a heated situation involving Kaiser, the pro wrestling legend has now issued a public apology on social media.

In his latest message on X, Flair clarified that his earlier comments were not aimed at questioning Kaiser’s in-ring ability or professionalism. He stated that he never meant to imply Kaiser lacked talent and acknowledged hearing positive things about his work.

Flair also referenced Kaiser’s involvement in what he described as “The Undertaker’s promotion,” noting his belief that the WWE star is doing well there.

For those unaware, Kaiser has been performing in AAA, which operates under WWE ownership with The Undertaker involved in a creative oversight role. In that promotion, Kaiser works under the masked alter ego El Grande Americano and has become one of its most popular stars.

Flair further admitted that his reaction came from a place of emotion and protection toward his family, particularly his daughters. He apologized for any personal comments made during the dispute and wished Kaiser continued success moving forward.

Flair initially claimed the situation escalated following a heated SmackDown segment involving Charlotte Flair and former WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, who was reportedly in a relationship with Kaiser at the time, in the lead-up to WrestleMania XL.

Flair had previously described directly confronting Kaiser over the issue, saying he obtained his number and threatened him during an angry phone call. He also suggested that the confrontation played a role in him being removed from a planned WrestleMania appearance.
