Awkward AEW Dynamite Botch Sparks Confusion Among Fans

Fans witnessed an awkward botch on last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

The May 13 episode of AEW Dynamite featured a singles match between “Speedball” Mike Bailey and an independent wrestler named Westbrook. While the bout lasted only 1:18 minutes, fans were left confused after witnessing an awkward botch.

During the match, Westbrook attempted a turnbuckle spot and tried to bounce off the top rope. However, he slipped and flipped awkwardly over the ropes before landing on the apron. He took a few seconds to pull himself back up as Bailey stood in the middle of the ring.

AEW described it as Westbrook getting “caught in the ropes trying to match Bailey,” and fans can also hear Taz chuckling after witnessing the botch. “Speedball” Mike Bailey picked up the win after hitting Westbrook with the Ultima Weapon from the top rope.
