Kane was known as the Big Red Machine. That moniker could have taken on an absurd new meaning if Vince McMahon got his way.
See No Evil was a 2006 horror movie starring Kane as Jacob Goodnight, a sadistic religious fanatic who lurked the halls of the abandoned Blackwell Hotel. A group of teenagers is forced to clean the hotel as a community service project, and Goodnight spends the night murdering them and collecting their eyes as his trophies.
Former WWE writer Dan Madigan, who is also credited as writing the movie, took part in a past interview with John Pollock and Wai Ting on the “Review-a-Wai” podcast. During the conversation, Madigan revealed that Vince McMahon, who produced the film through the WWE Films banner, made an unusual request: he wanted Kane’s character to have a huge penis.
As if that wasn’t enough, McMahon wanted him to pull it out on-screen during the movie.

Madigan shared how his conversation with the film’s director, Gregory Dark, went. According to Madigan, McMahon insisted on the change, and none of the other producers were trying to shoot the idea down.
“I get a call from Gregory Dark, the director. He says, ‘We’ve got a little problem here.’ This call is from Australia. I said, ‘What’s the problem?’ He goes, ‘Vince has a suggestion about the movie.’ I said, ‘Well, it’s his movie.’ He goes, ‘Vince wants this scene in the movie where Kane’s character pulls out his penis, and he wants it to be three feet long.’
“I thought there was a connection problem. I said, ‘Greg, can you just back up and repeat that last line for me?’ He goes, ‘Yes, Vince wants Kane’s penis to be three feet long. And none of the producers are saying anything about it.’ So I sat there, I go, ‘Oh, this is not good. This is not good. This is really not good.’ In the right movie, that’s genius, that’s absolutely brilliant, but not for this movie.”
Thankfully, McMahon’s idea didn’t make it into the film. See No Evil received mixed reviews, but it went on to have a decent haul at the box office and on DVD. A sequel, See No Evil 2, was released as a straight-to-DVD title in 2014.
