WWE Files Trademark For Soon-To-Debut SmackDown Star

WWE may be getting ready to officially unveil another major addition to the SmackDown women’s division.

A new trademark filing connected to Blake Monroe has sparked fresh speculation that her long-awaited main roster debut could be closer than expected.

Monroe has yet to appear on television since WWE began airing teaser vignettes for her after WrestleMania 42.

However, the latest development suggests the company is putting the finishing touches on her presentation before she finally walks through the blue brand curtain.

WWE trademark filing hints at Blake Monroe SmackDown arrival

On May 19, WWE officially filed a trademark application for Monroe’s nickname, “The Glamour.” According to the filing, the trademark covers wrestling performances, entertainment services, fan events, online content, and sports entertainment-related media.

“The Glamour” is not a brand-new creation for Monroe. The nickname dates back to her pre-main roster career and was also used during her run in NXT. WWE has continued leaning into the moniker through her recent SmackDown vignettes and merchandise rollout.

As its been in the past, WWE is likely trademarking the name while Monroe is under contract. In the future, if she ever left the company, the trademark would likely revert back to her.

Monroe reportedly has already been backstage at several SmackDown tapings in recent weeks, further fueling rumors that her debut is imminent. In a previous interview with Marca, Monroe spoke about learning from WWE executives and legends, including Paul Levesque and Shawn Michaels, during her WWE journey.

Before signing with WWE, Monroe competed in All Elite Wrestling and later captured the NXT Women’s North American Championship after transitioning to WWE’s developmental system.

WWE’s upcoming SmackDown schedule includes stops in Lexington, Barcelona, Bologna, and eventually Monroe’s hometown of London, England on June 23.

While nothing has been officially confirmed regarding her debut date, the trademark filing appears to be another clear clue that “The Glamour” is ready for her spotlight moment.

For WWE fans, the company may already be laying out the blue carpet — now it’s just a matter of when Monroe makes her entrance.
