Bianca Belair has opened up about the emotional decision behind her memorable pregnancy reveal at WrestleMania 42, revealing that the idea first came from WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque himself.
Belair’s surprise appearance during Night One of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas became one of the weekend’s standout moments, but according to “The EST,” the announcement nearly happened in a very different way. Much like a Money in the Bank cash-in, the plan changed at the last second.
Speaking on Bianca & Montez, Belair explained that she initially wanted to keep the pregnancy private and even considered announcing it quietly on her birthday instead.
“Originally I text Hunter, because when I first told Hunter I was pregnant he was super excited. He was like ‘how are you gonna announce it? What about WrestleMania?’”
Belair admitted she wasn’t immediately sold on making such a personal moment public on WWE’s biggest stage.
“I was in a space where I really didn’t want to announce it,” Belair said. “I honestly just wanted to tell my family and friends and just hard launch a baby.”

According to Belair, she and her husband Montez Ford eventually created an entirely different plan after waiting for a response from Triple H during the busy WrestleMania season.
“We were dead set on that, announce it on my birthday,” Belair explained. “Then Hunter text me back like ‘sorry for the delay, yes and yes.’”
Ford added that the couple had originally planned a Miami trip around Belair’s birthday before WrestleMania changed everything.
Instead, Belair returned during WrestleMania 42 alongside host John Cena and revealed her baby bump in front of a packed Allegiant Stadium crowd.
Belair joked during the segment that Cena needed to “add one more” to the attendance number, officially confirming that she and Ford are expecting a baby boy.
For WWE fans, it turned into a WrestleMania moment that was less about a heel turn and more about a life-changing babyface reaction.
