This year’s AEW Stadium Stampede match included a trip to catering, which broke down into a full-fledged food fight.
Chris Jericho, The Hurt Syndicate and The Elite’s Kenny Omega, Jack Perry, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson) faced off against The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, and Toa Liona), The Don Callis Family (Mark Davis and Andrade El Ídolo), and The Dogs (Clark Connors and David Finlay) in a Stadium Stampede match on Sunday night. The match featured several hilarious cameos throughout the arena, including Lio Rush in the trainer’s room and Luchasaurus posing as one of Andrade’s selfie girls.
The match also saw the TV return of Satnam Singh, who was sitting in catering when Andrade inadvertently smashed food in his face. Andrade ran at Kenny Omega, who sidestepped him and sent Andrade into Singh, who was sitting down and eating food at a nearby table.
Singh was visibly pissed and got involved in the backstage battle, calling for a food fight with all of the other talent in the room.
Singh was namedropped again later in the match as Luther the butler handed Jericho a giant tennis racket, which Excalibur said could only belong to Singh.
Singh has competed in dark matches and on ROH television this year. However, he has not appeared much on AEW TV. The giant’s last televised in-ring appearance on AEW programming came in a 16-man tag team match at AEW All In London 2024.
