Former WWE star Carlito famously spits in the face of people who don’t want to be cool. That doesn’t mean you should ask him to do it, though.
Appearing on Insight With Chris Van Vliet, Carlito revealed that his most common fan request centers on him spitting in their faces. Given the real-life potential consequences of the action, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion always turns it down.
“What I’m asked the most is to spit in their face,” he said. “They go, ‘How much you charge to spit in my face?’ I’m like, why would anybody even want that, number one. Number two, I think that’s a lawsuit. I mean, they could come back and sue me. Please stop asking this request. I don’t do it.”
While spitting in fans’ faces are off the table for him, signing their ripe or fake apples are not.
“I sign fake ones, but a lot of times they’ll bring me a real one,” Carlito said. “I don’t know why, they’ll be dead, you know, be rotten in a day. But they say they have all kind of plans. They’re gonna put them in a plastic bag or put them in the freezer. Whatever.”
Since leaving WWE in 2025, Carlito has appeared at a number of conventions and independent wrestling shows across the world. His WWE exit came after the company opted not to renew his contract, though looking back on the situation, Carlito feels he could have prevented it.
During the interview, Carlito also shared his surprise about Stephanie McMahon approving a controversial t-shirt design, and said that he doesn’t think Triple H really understood his gimmick.
