WWE veteran R-Truth recently shared a memorable backstage story involving The Undertaker, revealing how a late arrival to a major WWE event led to one of the most intimidating conversations of his career.
Speaking on Six Feet Under with The Undertaker, R-Truth reflected on the respect The Undertaker commanded in WWE’s locker room during his full-time career. While discussing backstage culture, Truth recalled a moment when he found himself on the receiving end of a stern lesson after showing up late before a pay-per-view match.
“For y’all don’t know, Taker was Taker, he’s the General. He’s the sergeant. He’s the guy that ran the locker room,” Truth said.
The former WWE Champion explained that the incident happened when he was scheduled for a major multi-person pay-per-view match alongside stars including The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. However, a coffee run with Rey Mysterio caused an unexpected delay.
“I was with Rey Mysterio. And Rey wanted some latte. He wanted some coffee,” Truth recalled.

According to Truth, the situation quickly became serious when he realized how late they were running.
“I was in a pay-per-view match with Taker, Shawn… It was a big match. It was a lot of people in the match. He was like 45 minutes late,” Truth said.
When he finally arrived, he was met by an unhappy Undertaker, who pulled him aside for a private conversation. It wasn’t exactly a Last Ride, but Truth admitted it felt close enough.
“When I got to Taker, when he gave me that look and pulled me in… he pulled me in,” Truth said.
The message from The Undertaker was direct and centered on professionalism and respecting everyone involved in the event.
“He was like, ‘You got this man, you got that man, you got him waiting on you for the pay-per-view.'”
Truth then summed up his reaction in classic fashion.
“Two drops of pee came out.”
The story offered another glimpse into The Undertaker’s long-standing role as a locker room leader and the respect he commanded behind the scenes throughout his WWE career.
