LA Knight’s problems with The Bloodline aren’t going away anytime soon. This time, he turned his attention to RAW General Manager Adam Pearce. Knight accused Pearce of giving special treatment to Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.
On the June 1 episode of WWE RAW, he made it clear that he believes the issue goes beyond Roman Reigns and his family. The confrontation happened backstage. Pearce had just finished talking with Penta and confirmed that his Intercontinental Championship match against Rey Mysterio was official.
Moments later, LA Knight showed up.
LA Knight confronts Adam Pearce over his treatment of Roman Reigns
Knight joked that Pearce seems to spend plenty of time visiting Reigns backstage, while everyone else has to chase him down in hallways whenever they need answers.
Pearce, however, denied the accusation. He explained that talking to Reigns is a part of his job, especially since he is the World Heavyweight Champion and has just defended his title.
Knight wasn’t buying it. He sarcastically said that Pearce was becoming an honorary member of The Bloodline. He joked that Pearce was starting to feel a little too “Ucey” and even offered to buy him some Bloodline merchandise.
It was clear that Knight was genuinely frustrated.
The situation heated up when Knight challenged Pearce directly.
He said Pearce’s actions make it seem like he only wants Roman Reigns to stay on top and has no interest in helping anyone else succeed. Knight then reminded Pearce that he used to be a wrestler and threatened to bring him out of retirement just to put him right back into it.
“I will pull you out of retirement just to put you back in. Now that we got that straight, the bottom line is this. It looks to me like the only person you want to be the World Heavyweight Champion is Roman Reigns. It ain’t Jacob Fatu. It damn sure ain’t me. But here’s your opportunity. Tell me you want me to succeed. Make me believe,” Knight said.
Pearce tried to explain that he was trying to keep the ongoing Bloodline drama from getting even more out of control. But Knight had no interest in hearing that explanation.
Before leaving, LA Knight grabbed Pearce’s hand and forced him to throw up The Bloodline’s famous “One” gesture.
