Rhea Ripley Calls Out AI-Generated Image

WWE‘s Rhea Ripley called out a fan for posting an AI-generated image of her.

A Rhea Ripley fan account on X/Twitter posted a “new render” of WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley with new ring gear. However, Ripley replied to the post, clarifying that she never took photos wearing that gear.

Many fans called out the user for posting an AI-generated image and pointed out that her eyes and tattoo looked different.

“Upon closer inspection, planchette tattoo is incorrect. Easily spotted to the trained eye,” one fan wrote.

“However realistic it looks, there are things that betray its authenticity… Among them are the eyes (color),” another said.

Rhea Ripley did wear that gear during her WWE Women’s Championship defense against Jade Cargill at Clash in Italy. However, she didn’t take any studio shots wearing it. Ripley’s look with the gear has become popular, and modders are already adding it to WWE 2K26 creations.

After Rhea Ripley’s reply, the fan account took down the original post and apologized.

Rhea Ripley considers leaving social media over toxicity

During her recent appearance on What’s Your Story? with Steph McMahon, WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley revealed that she considered deleting her X/Twitter account over the constant negativity.

“Yeah. I try. I try not to see a lot, but it’s so hard, you know, like we all do. It’s human nature. As soon as I click on I refuse to call it X, it’s Twitter as soon as I click on it, the whole first page is just negativity.”

Stephanie McMahon then said she avoids reading comments and suggested that Rhea Ripley could get WWE’s social media team to filter feedback. However, Ripley noted that she wants to see genuine fan reactions.

“I want to see what works and what doesn’t. I want that true reaction to things because if it doesn’t work, I need to know so I don’t do it again.” The conversation later turned to how negative comments can stay with people even after they initially dismiss them,” Rhea Ripley said.

“Literally, yeah. I feel that. This is hard. You know, this doesn’t affect me because you’re literally a very sad individual. Then you catch yourself thinking about it later, and you’re like, “Oh yeah, why am I thinking about this? Why am I giving them my time and energy right now?”

“I don’t want to. The news was great, right? I just stumbled on it. This happened. Yeah. So it’s definitely getting to me a lot lately. Yeah. And it is what it is. But it just sucks.” Rhea Ripley revealed she may need to take more drastic action to avoid the negativity altogether. “I think I just need to delete the app and then download it to post something.”
