Shocking Name Joins Don Callis Family on AEW Dynamite

A surprising addition strengthened the ranks of the Don Callis Family on the June 3 episode of AEW Dynamite, as one of AEW’s rising champions officially aligned himself with the controversial faction.

The announcement came during a segment that initially appeared focused on a future world title challenge.

Fresh off a dominant victory in singles competition, Andrade El Idolo looked ready to shift his attention toward championship gold.

However, Don Callis had other plans, and his interruption quickly changed the direction of the segment.

Kevin Knight officially aligns with Don Callis Family

The moment unfolded after Andrade defeated DK Vandu in convincing fashion. Following the match, Andrade grabbed a microphone and called out AEW World Champion MJF, questioning whether the champion truly believed he could defeat him.

Before Andrade could receive an answer, Don Callis and Jake Doyle made their way out. The interruption caught Andrade off guard and set the stage for a major reveal.

Callis then announced that TNT Champion Kevin Knight had officially joined the Don Callis Family.

The development adds another accomplished name to one of AEW’s most influential groups. It also places championship gold directly into the faction’s growing collection, with Knight currently reigning as TNT Champion.

Knight’s arrival follows a dramatic shift in attitude over recent weeks. At Double or Nothing, he shocked fans by turning on Darby Allin, signaling a move away from the fan-favorite path that helped elevate him in AEW. That turn also marked the end of his popular JetSpeed partnership with “Speedball” Mike Bailey.

On the same episode of Dynamite, Knight successfully retained the TNT Championship against Bailey, with Callis and Doyle accompanying him at ringside. The alliance appears to have moved from rumor to reality in short order.

For longtime wrestling fans, joining the Don Callis Family can be seen as a career fast track — though it often comes with a few strings attached, and sometimes a few broken friendships.

With Knight now officially under the Don Callis banner, attention turns to how this new partnership could impact both the TNT Championship picture and the faction’s growing influence across AEW.
