Triple H urges people not to take WWE too seriously and just have fun.
During a recent conversation with ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H had a message to fans about the promotion and where it is going. He noted that the promotion has something for everyone, balancing lighthearted comedy characters like Danhausen with serious stars like Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, and Rhea Ripley.
Triple H said the best part is that the stories never truly end. Unlike regular sports that stop after a big championship game, WWE starts a brand-new chapter the very next night, making it incredibly easy for fans to jump back in at any time.
“I think that we bring an event to you that is always going to be exciting, that is always going to surprise and delight you, and we bring a little bit of something for everybody. So there’s the entertainment component of a Danhausen, there is the serious component of a Brock Lesnar, a Roman Reigns, a Cody Rhodes, a Rhea Ripley, a Becky Lynch, and Jade Cargill, right? Where there’s that serious nature of it,” Triple H began.
“But the storylines keep you hooked, and if you haven’t watched in a bit, always tune in because the one thing about WWE is the story never ends. When you come to the end of the Knicks winning the big game, in our world, the next night, it starts over again, and there’s always fresh, there’s always new, there’s always something big happening. So even if you’ve missed out for a bit, you can jump right back in, be a part of those stories, and be a part of those epic moments. There’s something for everybody,” HHH continued.
Triple H reminds fans that WWE is all about entertainment
Speaking further, Triple H reminded everyone that WWE is supposed to be pure fun, urging fans not to take it too seriously. With so much going on in the real world, he says the company’s programming is built to be the perfect escape where fans can take a break and enjoy themselves.
“The other aspect is I think that people lose perspective of sometimes is we’re just fun. We’re fun, and sometimes people take it too seriously. Sometimes people get too caught up in it. But it’s there to entertain, man. There’s a lot of stuff going on in the world,” HHH went on.
“If you just want to turn off for a couple of hours and tune into something cool that you can just lose yourself in and have a good time, WWE is a place to do it. If you’ve never seen it live, I’m telling you, come to a live event, come to one of our PLEs, come to a TV, there’s nothing like it in entertainment,” Triple H said.
