Powerful Figures Revealed As Reason Behind MFT Split on WWE SmackDown

Solo Sikoa’s MFT faction suffered a stunning collapse on the June 26 episode of WWE SmackDown, but the biggest twist wasn’t simply that two key members walked away.

Instead, one revealing line suggested the decision came from a much higher authority, leaving Solo with little room to argue.

The shocking confrontation unfolded just one night before Night of Champions, adding another dramatic wrinkle to the ongoing Bloodline saga.

While Solo tried to hold his group together, it quickly became clear that this wasn’t a decision he could reverse.

“Word from the elders” ends Solo Sikoa’s MFT on WWE SmackDown

The confrontation began with Tama Tonga explaining why he and Talla Tonga had reached their breaking point.

“We’re tired of getting dragged into your war. Roman, Jimmy, all of them. Your obsession with Roman is tearing this group apart. Last week, we told you to stand back. You didn’t listen, and now we’re standing here without any gold around our waists. And now you’re helping LA Knight?”

Tama’s comments referenced recent events in which Solo ignored his stablemates’ request to stay away from ringside during their WWE Tag Team Championship match. Instead, his continued focus on Roman Reigns and his interference on Raw only deepened the cracks within the faction.

Then came the line that changed everything.

Talla Tonga told Solo, “We got word from the elders. Me and Tama… we’re out.”

That statement carried far more weight than a simple resignation. By citing “the elders,” the Tongans made it clear their decision came from the highest authority within the family’s hierarchy rather than personal frustration alone. In Bloodline lore, the elders represent the ultimate source of tribal guidance, making this less of a rebellion and more of an official verdict.

Solo desperately responded, “Out? You can’t leave.”

Tama’s answer was short, sharp, and final: “Just did.”

With the Tongans walking away, Solo was left standing alone. The split adds another major chapter to WWE’s evolving Bloodline story, proving that sometimes the final word doesn’t come from the Tribal Chief — it comes from the elders.
