John Cena Shows Off Bald Look During Second Hair Transplant

John Cena has shared another update on his hair restoration journey, showing off a completely bald look after undergoing his second hair transplant.

Cena has been open about his hair restoration journey from the beginning. After his first procedure in late 2024, he revealed the procedure gave him a huge confidence boost. Now, after a second session, he is hoping to improve the results even more, even if it means rocking a shaved head for a while.

John Cena undergoes a second FUE hair transplant

The 17-time world champion posted a photo with Dr. Ken Anderson at the Anderson Center for Hair in Atlanta, revealing that he has gone “all in” to get the best long-term results.

Cena shared a smiling photo from the Atlanta clinic shortly after the procedure. Standing next to Dr. Anderson, he showed off his freshly shaved head, which is normal after a major Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) treatment.

He also thanked the doctor and his team in the caption.

“Round 2 of FUE Treatment and this time I went all in for best possible results. Thank you @KenAndersonMD and the staff at Anderson Center for Hair for accompanying me on this journey!”

The shaved head isn’t a new style choice. It’s part of the FUE process. During the procedure, doctors remove individual hair follicles from one area of the scalp and transplant them to places where the hair is thinner. Shaving the head helps make the process more accurate and gives better results.

This second procedure is meant to build on the first one. While the first transplant helped with major thinning, this session is focused on improving the hairline, adding more coverage to the crown, and filling in thinner areas for a fuller look.

Cena first spoke about his hair transplant in 2024 and admitted that fans often joked about his thinning hair during shows. The Hollywood star said the surgery gave him more confidence both in his personal life and his acting career.
