WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has endured many painful matches throughout his wrestling career. However, the story surrounding his latest injury has emerged as unexpected and amusing. Instead of getting hurt in the ring, Angle lost a part of his tooth while helping his daughter, Nikoletta, practice one of his famous wrestling moves.
Angle shared the funny story on Instagram on July 6. He revealed that his daughter had been eager to learn his signature moonsault. While she finally nailed the move, it also sent her dad to the dentist.

According to Kurt Angle, Nikoletta had been asking him to teach her the moonsault for weeks. She spent a lot of time practicing on the family’s trampoline before finally trying it with her father catching her.
Alongside a photo showing his chipped tooth while Nikoletta hugged him, Angle shared how proud he was of her.
“My daughter Nikoletta has been begging to learn my moonsault and has been practicing nonstop on the trampoline these past few weeks. Today, while she was practicing on me, she gave it everything she had and she nailed it!!!!” Angle wrote.
Angle joked that even though he lost part of a tooth, seeing his daughter perform the move successfully made it worth it. He also laughed about the timing. The WWE legend revealed that the family is about to leave for vacation and that his wife probably wouldn’t be happy because he had promised not to wrestle with the kids on the trampoline.
“Even though this is a very proud dad moment for me, I have a feeling my wife won’t be too thrilled with me since I promised I wouldn’t wrestle with the kids on the trampoline, especially right before our family vacation. I can already imagine my dentist having a laugh about this one! ?,” Angle added.
He also said Nikoletta was actually more upset than he was because she thought she had hurt her dad.
“She got a bit upset thinking she hurt her daddy, but I reassured her that everything would be okay. After all, the tooth fairy is a friend of mine, and he’ll be excited to see his Olympic Hero again! ??,” Angle wrote.
He finished the post by encouraging his daughter to keep practicing.
“Practice makes perfect, Letty, even if it means your dad might lose a tooth or two along the way!” Angle wrote.
If anything, the incident proved that teaching wrestling moves at home can prove just as risky as performing them in front of thousands of fans.
