Jasmin St. Claire has never been afraid to speak her mind, and her latest social media post has once again put her in the spotlight. The former ECW wrestler has accused an unnamed independent wrestling women’s champion of trying to stop a promoter from booking her for an appearance.
Many fans first knew St. Claire outside of wrestling, but she became involved in the industry during the late 1990s and built a long career as a manager, valet, promoter, and on-screen personality. She got her start in XPW and ECW.
St. Claire became well known during ECW’s final years, especially because of her rivalry with Francine. One of the most memorable moments of that feud came when Rhino delivered a brutal piledriver to her. She also appeared in the early days of TNA Wrestling.
Outside the ring, St. Claire, along with The Blue Meanie, launched Pro-Pain Pro Wrestling (3PW), which ran from 2002 to 2005. After leaving 3PW, she worked as the on-screen commissioner for NWA Cyberspace. Moreover, she has continued making appearances across the independent wrestling scene.
Earlier this year, her contributions were recognized when she was inducted into the Women’s Wrestling Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026 in the Non-Wrestler category.
Jasmin St. Claire blames an indie Women’s Champion
St. Claire recently shared her frustration on social media. She claimed an indie titleholder attempted to prevent her from being booked for an appearance. However, she didn’t reveal the wrestler’s name or the promotion involved.
“Imagine being a woman’s champ of an indie promotion telling a promoter not to book me for an appearance? SMH.. this stuff always has a way of working on its way back to people,” she tweeted.
St. Claire’s comments have drawn even more attention because she has been active on the independent wrestling scene lately.
She recently appeared in Juggalo Championship Wrestling (JCW) as part of a pregnancy storyline. She has also been seen at National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) events, leading some fans to wonder if either promotion is connected to her post.
