“Hangman” Adam Page is making his AEW return. AEW President Tony Khan announced the news, and it ends weeks of speculation about Page’s future after he disappeared following his loss to MJF at AEW Revolution.
Page was last seen at Revolution on March 15, 2026, where he challenged MJF for the AEW World Championship in a 46-minute Texas Deathmatch. He pushed Friedman to the limit but came up short in one of the toughest matches of the year.
The loss meant more than just missing out on the title. Page accepted a stipulation that he could never challenge for the AEW World Championship again if he lost. After that defeat, he disappeared from TV programming.
Now, nearly four months later, he is finally back.
Hangman Adam Page Returns After AEW Revolution Loss
Tony Khan has recently announced that Page will appear on the July 11, 2026 episode of AEW Collision, where he will open the live show in Roanoke, Virginia.
Khan shared the news on social media, confirming that Page will kick off the show in his home state. He tweeted:
“Saturday Night #AEWCollision
LIVE, 8/7c, TNT & HBO Max
TOMORROW NIGHT, 7/11
Hangman Page will kick off AEW Collision LIVE in Roanoke, VA!
We haven’t seen Hangman since Revolution in March, & he returns to AEW to open Collision LIVE in his home state Virginia TOMORROW!”
A lot has changed in AEW since Hangman Adam Page left.
The AEW World title has changed hands. On the July 8 episode of AEW Dynamite, Kenny Omega defeated MJF to win the AEW World Championship. Interestingly, Omega managed to win despite facing the same “never challenge again” stipulation that had stopped Page at Revolution.
That twist makes Page’s return even more interesting. MJF is no longer champion, but the agreement Page accepted still leaves questions about whether he can compete for the world title again.
It remains to be seen if Page will address that stipulation or move on to a different rivalry
