WWE NXT star Karmen Petrovic has confirmed a big entrance change.
Since arriving in WWE NXT, Petrovic has carried a sword during her entrance. The weapon quickly became part of her on-screen character. However, fans recently noticed it was missing during her match against Jaida Parker. Petrovic has now explained why.

Speaking with The Dallas Morning News, Petrovic confirmed she will no longer carry the sword while being part of her new alliance with Natalya and Nikkita Lyons. She said she wants fans to focus on her, not just the prop.
She said, “The sword is a part of me, so whether I hold it or not, it’s always there. Like I said, for me, I’m a walking weapon, so sometimes I don’t need it on my shoulder.” She explained the change was a personal decision after joining the new faction.
“But definitely that was kind of a choice of me going forward with the new faction in NXT that I’m part of with Natty. Going forward, I want to give 110% of myself so people aren’t just thinking Karmen’s the sword girl.”
She added that fans could still see it return one day. “Karmen’s a badass, whether or not she has a sword. So, you know, there’s no capping it. Definitely, it could come back, maybe within the quick future, or it could take some time, but definitely it’s not gone forever.”
For now, she wants fans to remember her for more than just her entrance.
