Reina Volcan’s first televised WWE match is now official. During the July 14 episode of WWE NXT, the company confirmed that its newest rising star will finally step between the ropes next week, giving fans their first real look at what she can do inside the ring.
While her arrival has already turned heads, her first match could reveal whether the “force of nature” can make as big an impact between the ropes as she has with her words.
Reina Volcan to face Skylar Raye in WWE NXT debut
WWE announced that Reina Volcan will make her in-ring debut on the July 21 edition of NXT when she takes on Skylar Raye. The announcement came through a vignette that further introduced Volcan’s intimidating character ahead of her first televised contest.
In the video, Volcan made her intentions crystal clear. “I am Reina Volcan. I am the force of nature. NXT isn’t going to survive me; it’s going to suffer me. I will make my debut next week,” she declared.
The former independent standout previously competed under the name Nikki Blackheart before signing with WWE in March 2026. She first appeared on NXT earlier this month, interrupting a confrontation involving Tatum Paxley before laying her out with a devastating Torture Rack. That statement-making debut quickly put the locker room on notice.
Commentary has also presented Volcan as an “act of God” inside the ring, while recent promo packages have highlighted her dominant presence. She has described herself as WWE’s first Dominican superstar and warned that her opponents could end up “buried beneath the wreckage.” That’s certainly one way to make an entrance — and it’s safe to say she isn’t coming to play babyface bingo.
Next week’s NXT will also feature Tony D’Angelo defending the NXT Championship against Naraku, Shawn Spears facing Niko Vance, Nattie taking on Jaida Parker, and DarkState meeting Saquon Shugars, Romeo Moreno, and Noam Dar in six-man tag team action.
For Volcan, however, all eyes will be on her first official WWE NXT match as she looks to turn weeks of anticipation into action.
