WWE Confirms Kendal Grey’s Next Title Challenger On NXT

WWE has officially confirmed the next challenger for Kendal Grey’s NXT Women’s Championship. On the July 14, 2026 episode of NXT, Lola Vice backed up her earlier promise by winning a Triple Threat Match to become the new No. 1 contender.

The win earned her another shot at the title she lost to Grey just a few weeks ago, setting up another big match between the two rivals.

Before the matches began, this week’s NXT teased the rematch during a backstage segment. Saquon Shugars was talking with Wren Sinclair and Grey about finding help for his problems with DarkState. That’s when Lola Vice walked in and made her goal very clear.

“I’m not done yet, mama. I’m getting my title back,” Vice told Grey. Grey reminded Vice that she first had to win her match later that night. “I will,” Vice replied.

Later in the show, she did exactly that.

Lola Vice secured the NXT title match by winning the Triple Threat

The main event of the night was a Triple Threat between Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, and Kali Armstrong. The winner would earn a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship.

All three women had strong moments during the match. Armstrong used her power to control the action early, while Jordan fought with her speed and high-flying moves.

Vice leaned on her MMA skills, locking in submission holds like a guillotine choke and a triangle choke. She also hit her signature running hip attacks in both corners.

The finish came after several close calls.

Jordan looked ready to pin after landing a beautiful 450 Splash on Armstrong, but Vice stopped her with a buzzsaw kick. She then took advantage of the opening, pinned Armstrong, and picked up the win.

With that victory, Lola Vice officially became the No. 1 contender for Kendal Grey’s NXT Women’s Championship.
