Former WCW valet Missy Hyatt recently recalled a difficult moment from her career. She claimed Eric Bischoff fired her after she complained about an explicit photo.
Hyatt said an exposed photo of her was being circulated around CNN offices. She claimed she first reported the issue to Eric Bischoff. According to Hyatt, nothing was done after her complaint. She later raised the issue with WCW executives instead.
Speaking on Talk Is Jericho, Hyatt explained how she found the photo during a visit to CNN Center.
Former WCW star Missy Hyatt recalls why Eric Bischoff allegedly fired her
“When I went up, me and the Nasty Boys went up to the to the CNN Center, the photography studio, to take promo pictures. And there was an 8 by 12 color copy of my boob exposed. It was like that. It was like this. And then it was a malfunction. Just a little bit of nipple. Not a big deal. Like, it happens. A stripper. Nipples or nippers? What the hell?”
She said she immediately contacted Bischoff and asked him to handle the situation.
“Anyway, but it was up there, and you knew there were a lot of copies because it wasn’t just one picture. It was like a photocopy, color copy. So, I pulled it down the wall. I still have it, too. Yeah. And I crumpled it up and threw it in the trash can, but something said, ‘Go back and get it.’ So, I went and got it. And I, I called Eric Bischoff, and I said, ‘Eric, you need to do something about this.’ And nothing ever happened.”
“And then he got mad at me when we were down in Florida. He said I went over his head because one of the other, one of the suits had asked me about how was the pay-per-view. And I told him about the picture, and then I also told him how, you know, the, the director knows what’s going on, and he calls what cameras to do.”
She also discussed production issues from a WCW pay-per-view. According to her, Bischoff became upset after learning she had gone over his head.
“The pay-per-view was Falls Count Anywhere, or no time limit. That was no time limit. Here, it was a time-limit match, and the Nasty Boys lost, but they missed the camera for the one, two, three at the Clash. And then I jump in the ring, and the two ugly guys kiss me, right? So, instead of, on the replay, showing that they got the one, two, three on the Nasty Boys, they showed the replay of them kissing me.”
“So Eric Bischoff… and I told him about the picture of my boob, and I said, and I talked to Eric, and Eric hadn’t done anything about it. I wanted an apology. I wanted all the copies and an apology. All I wanted. I didn’t care. You know, if you want to keep a picture of my boob, whatever. But I want, you know, I was like, ‘What the?’ And nothing, he came up to me, and he goes, ‘You went over my head. You’re fired.’ And I was fired like that. That was it. It was all because of Jason. Jason wanted to go to the wrestling shows, and if I was there, it would hurt his feelings.”
