Eric Bischoff Believes WWE Star Will Be a Fixture for the Next Decade

Danhausen‘s rise in WWE has been unlike anything anyone has seen in recent years. Just a few months after his debut, the “Very Nice, Very Evil” star has become one of WWE’s top merchandise sellers and a fan favorite. Former WCW executive Eric Bischoff believes this is only the beginning of a successful future.

Bischoff recently praised Danhausen’s rise and said he expects the former AEW star to be a major part of WWE for years to come.

Eric Bischoff believes Danhausen will be a permanent face in WWE

During a recent episode of the 83 Weeks podcast, Bischoff said he is genuinely happy to see Danhausen doing so well, even though the two have never met.

“I am so happy for that young man. I’m proud of him and I don’t even know him. I could not be happier. And I think it’s great. Talk about things that are good for the business to see the kind of success this young man has had. I just love it,” Bischoff said.

Bischoff then made a bold prediction about Danhausen’s future.

“I think the next 10 years of his life are going to be just an amazing journey… because we’re not going to quit talking about this a year from now. I think Danhausen is going to become a brand fixture in WWE for the next 10 years,” he added.

Coming from someone who helped shape wrestling during the Monday Night Wars, that’s high praise. Bischoff has seen many stars come and go, so his confidence in Danhausen says a lot.

Looking back, it feels surprising that Danhausen’s WWE debut didn’t receive a warm welcome. He made his first appearance at Elimination Chamber 2026, popping out of a mystery crate. The segment split fan opinion, with some wondering if his unusual character would work in WWE.

A few months later, Danhausen has become one of WWE’s biggest merchandise sellers. WWE has also trademarked his popular catchphrase, “Human Monies,” showing just how much confidence the company has in his popularity.

Apart from these, his famous “curse” has been a part of many crossover events beyond WWE.
